Full time job and kids

I heard that a lot of people are saying: "It is not possible for both of parents working full time and have a kids" or "It is too expensive to work full time" or "It is not worth it to work full time", "I don't need to work, Queen will pay me".

What do you think readers??? Is that true???

I and my partner are in Scotland over 5 years and we always work full time both of us, we didn't even think to find other way around and from 3,5 years when our first daughter was born we didn't spend a penny for a child care or babysitter. We have not got any family here which can watch kids while we are at work but it is possible.

I need to say was not easy to find a jobs which are suitable for us as a parents but it is possible.

I am not saying it easy and we have got big earnings but we are working full time.

Five years ago we started from minimum rate per hour and up to January this year we had minimum rate, but we were working that was important. After five years with this same employer we had really enough and we started looking for jobs and I need to say if you want to work it is hundreds of jobs, really it is and I can't believe that people can't find a job because they must be lazy or they don't want to work. 

I am not saying I love my job and I was always dreaming to work in Private Health Care but this is a job and it is paying a bills. After five years of trying and looking I have got £7.00 to £11.50 per hour and my girlfriend £7.89. I am working in agency called Karma Healthcare Limitied and I am doing about 35-48 hours a week and my partner is working for Erskine and she is doing 35-48 hours. I know that are not big money but you can live on very good standard, had two kids, a four bedrooms private rented flat, two cars, you can afford to go out to restaurant or have a drink with friends and you don't need worry about paying a council tax.

I know what a lot of you can think now - how this is possible??? Who is watching kids??? 

It is very simple my girlfriend is working 5 shifts a week for 7 hours + sometimes an overtime and I am working around her off duty this is beauty of agency worker and if you are really good office will find you a shift exactly when you need one and when you are available. She is doing early shift, I can do a back shift or night shift, it is simple. Sometimes we are meeting in the middle of road to work and from work and just swapping a cars to take care of kids but everything is possible.

I will be finishing now but I would like heard something from you, maybe you want to know more how we are doing that, maybe some more deateails, maybe you have got similar experience and I can learn something from you. Make a comment and I will be answering for all the questions and opinions.

Who I am and Why I made this blog.

Hi to readers if they will be any,

My name is Mateusz (Matthew), I am 24 years old, I was born in Poland but actually I live in UK-Scotland-Stirlingshire-Strathblane. I came to Scotland in June 2008 and I decided to stay here for rest of my life if that will be possible. What else I can say about me??? I have got two beautiful girls: Karolina (older) and Julia (younger).

I am living with my girlfriend Sara, we are together since December 2004 without any brakes. That was really first serious relationship in my life and I hope it will be last. 

About my blog I decided write about a life, most of it will be how a man can do a woman jobs (taking care about home and kids) and how easy and difficult it is, sometimes about a easy handyman jobs, sometimes about cooking (my hobby) how to make easy and healthier snack for kids instead buying them at shops, 

A lot of readers can ask why me??? Why not my wife??? What for??? It is hundreds of blogs like that: An answer: I don't know, my English is not perfect, it is not even good. I think I had a need to share with somebody and maybe gave somebody a help or answer for many questions.

A lot of you can say What 24 years old boy can know about life??? An answer is simple I don't know everything about life but my life was not easy and for 24 years old I learn a lot from my mistakes, I can cook, fix a cars, fix an iPhone, fix computers, taking care of kids, I am living on my own since I was 19 years old in country where I had nobody to help me, I earn everything myself from £60 in my pocket and used air plane ticket.I need to say was not easy I made a lot of mistakes in my life back in Poland and more mature in UK, but I am proud how I can survive in this crazy XXI century.

I would like apologize the readers for my language but I am still learning.

I need to finished for today, as a house-husband I need pick up my love one from a girls party but I hope I will manage write a post tomorrow and I would like heard from you what would you like me to write??? Maybe more about me and my family, maybe something about taking care of kids, maybe about cooking??? Your choice if I will be not here from you readers I will be still writing about everything and nothing because I feel I need to write for myself just now.
